Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 12 September 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of our online course, sold through sleekexcel.com. By buying the course you agree to them, so please read them before you pay.

1. Who you are buying from

Sleek Excel is a trading name of Sleek Data Solutions Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC829909.

Registered office: Old Byre House, Burnhervie, Inverurie, Scotland, AB51 5LE
Contact: fraser@sleekexcel.com

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Sleek Data Solutions Ltd trading as Sleek Excel, and “you” means the person buying the course.

2. What you are buying

The Sleek Excel Dashboard Course is a digital course delivered online. It consists of video lessons teaching you how to design and build a modern Excel dashboard, together with the bonus materials described on the sales page.

No physical product is shipped to you. You need your own working copy of Microsoft Excel on a desktop computer; it is not included and is bought separately by you. The course uses standard Excel features and does not require VBA, macros or add-ins.

3. Price and payment

The price is as shown on the sales page, as a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, unless the sales page clearly states otherwise before you pay.

Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal, and you can pay by debit or credit card. Prices shown include any taxes we are required to charge. If your bank or card issuer applies a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee, that fee is theirs and not ours.

Any promotional or beta price, discount, or limited bonus applies only while it is displayed on the sales page. We may change the price at any time, but a change will never affect a purchase you have already made.

4. Delivery and access

After your payment is confirmed, we send your access details to the email address you entered at checkout. Please make sure that address is correct, and check your spam folder if nothing arrives. If it is still missing, email us and we will sort it out.

Access to the course is granted to you personally, and for as long as we operate the course. Course updates are included at no extra cost.

5. Refunds and your right to cancel

Our 30-day money-back guarantee

If the course is not for you, email fraser@sleekexcel.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to return anything. We aim to process refunds within 24 hours, to the original payment method.

Your statutory right to cancel

Separately from our guarantee, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. However, because this is digital content supplied online, that right ends once you have started to access or download the course, where you have agreed to this and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel. By purchasing and accessing the course, you consent to immediate access and acknowledge that your 14-day statutory cancellation right will be lost once access begins.

In any case, our 30-day guarantee above is longer and more generous, so in practice you may simply use that. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law.

6. What we promise, and what we do not

We promise to give you the course as described on the sales page, and to help you if something is not working. As required by UK consumer law, the digital content we supply will be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.

We cannot promise a particular result. Dashboard design is a skill, and how your own work turns out depends on your practice, your data and your effort. We make no guarantee of any career, promotion, client, income or other outcome from taking this course. If you are not happy with what you get, use the guarantee in section 5, which is what it is for.

7. Use of the course material

The course, its videos, guides, templates and Excel files belong to us and are protected by copyright.

You may use them for your own learning, and you may use the techniques, templates and files in your own work, including work you are paid for.

You may not copy, share, resell, publish or redistribute the course materials or files, give your access to anyone else, or use them to teach or sell a course of your own.

Dashboards and files you build while following the course are entirely yours. You may keep them, share them with your employer or clients, and use them commercially.

If you share your access or distribute the material, we may withdraw your access without a refund.

8. Your data and your files

You are responsible for the data you put into any dashboard you build, including making sure you are allowed to use it and keeping your own backups. We never receive it. Please do not send us files containing confidential or personal data when asking for help.

9. Our liability

We provide the course as described, but we cannot promise that the website or the course platform will always be available or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with the course is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any of your legal rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded under UK law.

10. Changes

We may improve or update the course content over time, and updates are included at no extra cost. We may also update these terms, in which case the new version is posted here with a new date. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in force on the day you bought.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes will be heard by the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions that apply where you live.
